You can find us at St George’s Family Centre, 48 Gibney Street, Dunsborough.
9am – 11am, last SATURDAY of the month.
Bring your broken household or garden items, clothing or textiles, and we’ll do our best to repair them — for free! We ask for a gold coin donation from those who can afford it, and we’ll teach you how to fix your broken belongings. Let’s see if we can give your items a new lease on life — and reducing landfill, saving you money, and avoiding the need to buy new.
We can’t currently repair electrical items, but we’ll happily have a go at most other things. We make
no promises, but we’ll help where we can. If we can’t fix it, we might well be able to point you in the direction of someone who can. For truly unrepairable items we can help you find someone to repurpose or recycle it – the aim is to keep as much as possible out of landfill.

🛠️ What We Can Fix
Here are some things we can usually fix, but even if you’re item isn’t on the list, bring it along and we’ll see what we can do.
🧵 Clothing & Textiles:
Rips, tears, loose seams, missing buttons, bags, cushions and soft toys.
🏡 Household Items:
Ornaments, toys (non-electrical), picture frames and tools.
🪴 Garden Items:
Broken tools and handles, garden ornaments and plant supports.
🔪 Sharpening:
Kitchen knives, scissors, secateurs, tools.
